How We Give Back

Tell me, when you go through your closet and gather a bag of donatable clothing, if you’re lucky, the box ends up in your trunk, right? And when you finally find the time to drop it off, it goes to a place like Goodwill? There is nothing wrong with Goodwill and I absolutely donate there and others just like it. But there are SO many charities out there that rarely get the donations they need to survive. The problem is, who has time to go through donations, figure out what each charity will and won’t take, and take the time to get those donations to the specific charities? I will! As a social worker, I have a strong desire to give back, especially after COVID, so I will take your donations (with your permission of course), go through the items and get them to people and places that really need them. This is a service I provide on my own time and at my own expense. On this page, I’d like to showcase charities that get your donated items and a little tid bit about what they do for others. This is how YOU and YOUR DONATED ITEMS are helping the community. Way to go!
